Frequently Asked Questions
Master your AI Chart Analyzer configuration.
How does the Multi-Timeframe Strategy work?
It relies on a "Cascade Effect" principle. The Higher Timeframe (HTF) confirms the dominant trend (e.g., Weekly Bullish), the Entry Timeframe (ETF) identifies the setup zone, and the system waits for a precise trigger on the Low Timeframe (LTF). You only get an alert when all three align perfectly, filtering out market noise.
What does the AI Review (Gemini) do?
Think of this as your "Fundamental Safety Net." While technical indicators might look good, bad news can crash a price instantly. When enabled, our AI scans not just the chart but also current market sentiment and fundamental data. If a technical signal fires but the AI sees negative sentiment, it will warn you or suppress the bad trade.
Why use the Fear & Greed filter?
Smart money buys when the crowd is fearful. By checking "Extreme Fear" for Crypto, you configure the system to only alert you to Buy signals when the general market sentiment is panic-stricken. This is a powerful contrarian strategy to catch bottoms and get the best possible entry prices.
Can I trade stocks and crypto together?
Yes. The analyzer is asset-agnostic but market-aware. You can select AAPL (Stock) and BTC (Crypto) in the same configuration. The system automatically adjusts its data fetching hours (24/7 for Crypto, Market Hours for Stocks) to ensure indicators like RSI and MACD are calculated correctly for each asset class.
What is "Min Indicators" (Confluence)?
This setting controls signal quality. If you have 5 different indicators active (e.g., RSI, MACD, EMA, etc.), setting Min Indicators to 3 means the system needs at least 3 of them to agree simultaneously to trigger a signal. Higher values = fewer, but highly reliable signals. Lower values = more active trading.
What is the "Lookback Period"?
The Lookback Period defines the "window of validity" for a signal. If set to 1 Bar, the indicator condition must be true on the current closing candle. If set to 3 Bars, the condition is considered valid if it triggered anytime within the last 3 candles. This helps catch signals that happened slightly out of sync across different timeframes.
Which indicators are included in each timeframe?
Each timeframe (LTF, ETF, HTF) has a specialized suite of indicators tailored to its purpose. You will find trend indicators like EMA, SMA, SuperTrend for HTF, momentum oscillators like RSI, Stochastic, MACD for ETF, and volatility/trigger tools like Bollinger Bands for LTF. Click "Configure Indicators" on any card to see the full list.
What does the "Mark as Important" button do?
Marking an indicator as "Important" gives it Priority Status. In your Confluence count (Min Indicators), a marked indicator is mandatory. Even if you have met the minimum number of indicators, if the "Marked" one hasn't triggered, the alert won't fire. Use this for your non-negotiable strategy rules (e.g., "Price MUST be above 200 EMA").
How is the Probability Score calculated?
The Probability Score is a composite AI metric that combines three pillars: 1. Technical Analysis (Chart patterns, indicator strength), 2. Fundamental Analysis (Earnings, On-chain data), and 3. News Sentiment (Global market news). It processes these vast datasets to give you a single confidence score (0-100%) for every potential trade.
